On May 28, 2012, the Open Goldberg Variations project will release the digital score and recording to the general public. That means everybody will be able to download the newly engraved edition (PDF and MuseScore versions), as well as listen to and download Kimiko Ishizaka's brilliant recording in CD quality recording (MP3, SoundCloud, OGG). We plan on shipping the CDs and printed scores later in June.

The digital release will be just in time for the Classical:NEXT conference which starts on May 30th, in Munich, Germany. I, along with Kimiko Ishizaka and Thomas Bonte of MuseScore will be presenting a special showcase discussing the Open Goldberg Variations project. Kimiko will play a selection of the Goldberg Variations while Thomas demonstrates the score following technology of SampleSumo.com.
