Ronald Douglass (aka Dad) is a warm and gentle father, grandfather, musician, teacher and craftsman. He inspired the love of music in me, one of the greatest gifts I've been given. Dad and I played in the same symphony, the same college band, and the same brass quintet together. I was also a hornist in the community band which he directs. The bond that we built through music is a special privilege that few fathers and sons get to share with each other.
