Packt Publishing has awarded Drupal 2nd prize in their 2006 Open Source CMS award. Great job Drupal!

It was a close race. Joomla! and Drupal were tied and an extra judge was brought in to cast the winning vote, so it is clear that it could have gone the other way, too.
